The President and founder of American Torque Sports, Tiny comes to the program
following coaching honors in both indoor and outdoor football. He is a member of 2 football Halls of Fame. The northern Indiana former player and coach has travelled the country in his football pursuits and has lived in Montana and South Carolina previously. Recently named Head Coach of the Fort Wayne South Side high school football team.
ADAM McPHERSON Mesa, AZ
Played high school baseball in Mesa, Arizona before turning pro in 2016 when he
played in Desert Professional League (Independent) in Yuma County, Arizona.
Has worked in baseball day-camps in Marietta, Georgia and New Mexico and also plays semi-pro football in Arizona. Adam was instrumental in assisting front-office personnel in the Desert League and is a tireless ambassador for baseball.
CESAR BARRAZA San Luis, AZ
Former pitcher in numerous Mexican minor leagues, the border resident is a scout for
Mexican baseball talent in the States and has worked with softball players both as a coach and an instructor in both the US and Mexico. Cesar has been a player and coach in the Desert League and the Arizona Winter League in southern Arizona. Has worked numerous professional tryouts in Mexico, Arizona and New Mexico.
RODNEY TAFOYA Santa Fe, NM
"The Ageless Arm", Rodney has played professional ball in the Northwest League, independent ball in the Pecos and Golden Leagues, international ball throughout Mexico and has now notched 450 pitching victories in both amateur and professional leagues. Author of his own autobiography.
BRANDON BURNS ALICE LLOYD COLLEGE DANVILLE, WV
After playing for Alice Lloyd College in Kentucky, Brandon was invited to camp in the
Southeastern Baseball League with the Spartansburg (SC) Alley Cats as both a pitcher and first baseman. Brandon has coached multiple sports at the high school level in West Virginia (he specialized in high school girl's basketball and track and field) and has excelled in the Charleston Adult Men's League.
IVAN VILLEASCUSA YUMA, AZ
Ivan would have been playing AAA baseball this season in the Mexican League had the virus not shut down the league. Has played many seasons at AAA level after playing in the Angels organization. Currently the GM of the Mexicali Aguilas of the AAA Mexican Pacific League. Their alumni include Fernando Valenzuela, Mike Piazza and John Kruk.
BECKY MEDINA SAN TAN VALLEY, AZ
Becky comes to us locally after working special events as a coordinator and graduating from Arizona State. Experienced with service and interacting with people, Becky serves as the league's General Manager.
KIDA DE LA CRUZ MIAMI, FL
Kida was ready to pitch in an independent league prior to the virus shutting everything down. The ex-Washington Nationals and California Angels minor leaguer got to High A California League after pitching in the Midwest League All-Star classic.
JOHN GUY CASA GRANDE, AZ
John serves as Director of Operations for the league. Involved in pro independent baseball for years, John has been featured on ESPN and in SPORTS ILLUSTRATED. Has also worked in minor league hockey, basketball, indoor football, indoor lacrosse and semi-pro football.
HEATHER OLIVER EL MIRAGE, AZ
The former GM of the Nogales Charros (AZ-MX League), Heather has also worked in minor league basketball and hockey around the US.
